CM Podcast 73 – Locke & Key

It’s October so the weather gets cooler, the leaves change colors and the Red Sox are not in another MLB playoff.  Do not despair!  We have great comics to read and discuss!  This week we do a retro review of Locke & Key.

Locke & Key is about the Locke Family and how a tragedy moves the family from their familiar surroundings in California to the strange (and fictitious) island of Lovecraft, Massachusetts where they discover Key House.

Locke & Key was originally published in 2008 and ran for a little under 40 issues.  It is a supernatural horror comics that has tons of heart.  I read the original run and Jon just started and he is hooked.

In the podcast we review the comic, give you a few tips on some horror movies you should check out before Halloween and go over some history of Salem, MA and how it relates to Locke & Key.
