We mentioned last week that we went to Boston Comic Con and we met some great people. One of the coolest, most relax creators that I met there was Jason Latour. I knew he was going to be there so I brought my trade copy of Loose Ends and the first issue of Black Cloud (which will soon be a podcast topic).
I asked if he could sign each and he was more that happy to do it. I mentioned how much I liked Loose Ends and he took some time to talk to me about it. After speaking with him, I knew that this comic would be the next podcast.
Loose Ends is a 4 part miniseries which is self described as a Southern Crime Romance. It is written by Jason Latour (writer on Spider-Gwen and Black Cloud) with art by the Chris Brunner. It was published by Image Comics.
It is a fast ride of love, loss, murder and drugs…lots and lots of drugs. I gave my copy of the trade to Jon, who has never read it, and told him to be prepared to talk about it. He devoured the trade and was very excited to talk about it.
If you are looking for a comic that is not spandex and worth a read or two, you best pick up Loose Ends.
